Assistant Manager

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Perform all opening and closing procedures and ensure daily adherence to opening and closing checklists

• Assist ownership with scheduling, opening and closing, recruitment, training and on-boarding when neccessary

• Lead and motivate the store team. Serve as a proactive mentor, teacher, and problem solver

• Provide excellent service to all customers

• Assist in maintaining store visual standards

• Ensure all sales and operational policies and procedures are followed

• Accurately process all POS transactions

• Performs other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job

 

Qualifications:

 

• High School diploma required; associates degree preferred

• Prior retail management experience preferred

• Knowledge of POS systems

• Excellent leadership skills

• Excellent time-management, prioritization, oragnization skills

• Excellent mathematical skills

• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
